We are going to Guinea Bissau, West Africa (near Senegal) at the end of the January
where we will be fishing in the Atlantic Ocean in Africa's largest archipelago for
very large Jack Crevalle (35/40lbs), enormous Red Snappers (40lbs upwards),
barracuda (5ft ), massive pompano and extremely large cobia
We fish these hooks on the top of our jiggers. The last 2 times we went there we had
2 days where we couldn't get the jiggers to the sea bed for jacks, absolutely black
with fish!!
Having fished Florida and Mexico many times I find this area has some of the best
fishing in the world. There are Tarpon that average over 200lbs each

i use those hooks mainly on big dead baits(hole fish, big strips of fish
etc) when fishing on depths from 100-580metres. i also love those gorilla
hooks when fishing for halibut on shallower water.
