Owner 5318 90° JIG HOOKS - Size 6

I will be using these for my 3 favorite flies I have used to catch 43 species in the past 3 years! Salt water (jacks,moi, barracuda,permit), cold water( trout walleye pike musky), warm water(bass, catfish, white bass, carp, suckers)

And many others. I have been using owner hooks and have had only 2 break on me! Just wish they were cheaper!

I plan on tying bead head wooly bugger style flies with the jig hooks, so
the hook point rides up. I'm really enjoying fly tying and fly fishing for
European carp, in South East Queensland Australia at the moment

I'm going to make jig heads with 2 to 3,5 gr weight. I find that Owner
hooks are the best for salt water soft baits(Yamashita Maria) because of
the thin material and the sharpnes and its easy to set the lures onlike
all Owner jig hooks they lack elasticity and they break easy. .but the do
stay sharp for ever.biggest fish i caught was Pollack about 10 pund on the
0-5 gr spinning rod and that hook.

Thanks for the hooks , these hooks are used to make weighted jig heads
using a "do it mold" poured with lead painted then feathers are tied on
them so the look like flies I will send picture they are fished under a
sliding bobber in small coastal steams here in Oregon for winter steelhead
trout.

Thanks for the fast return in shipping. I use those hooks for jig fishing for
trout. I put lead in them and use small 1 1/2 crappie tubes jigs to fish trout.

I have a fear of lead; so I cast my own jigheads from tin

I always have time to talk about fishing. I am a crappie fisherman.
A serious on at that, and that is why I am purchasing the premium Owner hooks.
Owner jig hooks are the very best jig hook out there. You can not buy crappie jigs,
made with Owner hooks. Most are made with Eagle claw hooks, and they do not
compare, as far as the sharpness of the Owner hooks. So, I have, Do it Molds, and cast
my jigs with the Owner hooks. It puts more fish in the boat, because of less fish
lost off of hooks. So for me it is worth it!

with the owner jig hooks i do little jig head to use for ligth rock
fishing in sea, for seabass, *Trachurus picturatus * in italy
sugarello, Scomber
scombrus, and for bottom fish, with little soft bait.

I use these hooks for make jig head, I add a ball of lead on the hooks
and I use jig head with small softbait for catch touts, perch, chubs and
a lot of small fish in freshwater and in saltwater.

I've been looking for the size 6 for over a year.I love the Owner's and knew they
existed but thought they were only sold overseas. I will use these only in custom
jig molds that I designed and had built for me,personal use only.I sell finished
jigs that I tie on ebay,been selling since 2004. I'll use them mainly for deepwater
crappie and bluegill,need a super sharp hook to stick the fish in deep water using
2lb.test.

I pour my own jigs so that I can get exactly what I like. I will be using
these hooks in a 1/32 oz ball head and 1/16 walleye jig. I am playing around with
smaller hooks on some of my pours to see if it decreases the hang-ups but not the
hook-ups. Owners are very good hooks (sometimes soft on the points) and the #6 is
hard to locate.
