Hello Guys at Jagged Tooth Tackle, I ordered the circle hooks from you because your
prices are good and your shipping cost are even better. I release most of the fish
catch so I wanted to make up some rigs for live bait fishing to catch PICKERAL and
TROUT.

I used this hooks today , at this point of the season at the san francisco
bay , we are fishing for small winter visitors , like perch of different
kinds , Salt water perch like Black , rubber lips , stripped surf perch ,
walleye perch , silver perch , rainbow perch , pile perch , and the problem
were having was that sometimes the fish swallows the hooks and we really
have a hard time getting the small hooks out of their mouth , but today
this small circle hook did an amazing job hooking all the small perch on
side of their jaws .

This is my second time to purchase particular hook(Mustad demon circule
size 6).
First time I bought size 8 and 10 at the local shop and used but several
times the hook
bended becase of the size of fish I get(Greenlings up to 4Lbs). Before
that I was using
EWG hooks but several times fish swallowed completely the hook and was not
easy to
take it out of the mouth keeping Greenlings alive. Yes I use Greenlings
for my bait to
catch Lingcods at South Jetty on Westport, WA. Since I started using
this hook size 6,
all my catch of Greenlings is precisely hooked around the lips and easy to
unhook and
kept alive. Also the strength is sperv, no more bendings at all for big
Greenlings, too.
Even works for eventual big mouth Sculpin(for this tiny size 6 hook).

As I fish straight down the rocks to the bottom and a lot of snugs of the
sinkers which
end me loosing a lot of ligs, thats why I want to keep inventory of the
hooks. Every trip
I lose 3-5 hooks. I go fishing every weekend.

I'm new to fishing. I started just last year using gamakatsu circle hooks. They were
very cheap but also offset hooks. And I experienced gut hooking. So I sought inline
circle hooks. The cheapest ones I could find were the mustads on your site. I
suggest you market on Amazon and email coupons after sales.
I use #6 snelled for panfish. I fish a reservoir that is overpopulated with white
perch. They apparently eat eggs of all the other fish. There are a few stunted bass.
Gamakatsu #6 has caught 4inch bream to bass over a foot. It seems to fit and hook
mouths of all sizes in my very limited experience.

I will be using the 5/0 circle hooks for limb lines and jug fishing. The #6 circle
hooks I am going to use for bluegill fishing. I am really curious on how my luck
will go with that small of a circle hook. Either way I like the fact that circle
hooks increase the chances of me releasing the fish in good health back into the
water. I hate seeing fish get gut hooked. This day and age if a person uses Kahle
(Eagle Claw) or circle hooks there shouldn't be any gut hooking. It just takes more
education and endorsements of those two styles of hooks to get more folks switched
over.
