The Owner twistlock light is a perfect hook for my crayfish pattern. Even though they cost about a dollar

TwistLOCKT LIGHT with Centering-Pin Spring (CPS-patent pending) is a lighter version of our TwistLOCKT bass hook. With guidance from bass fishing professional and lure designer Gary Yamamoto, the TwistLOCKT Light was created as the ideal hook for rigging Senko-style baits and other thinner profile plastics. With Owner's unique "Centering-Pin Spring" (CPS - patent pending) attached to the hook eye, baits can be "permanently" secured by inserting the pin in the center of the nose of a soft plastic, which can then be screwed onto the TwistLOCKT coil spring so that any bait will rig perfectly everytime! The "Open" gap allows for more positive hook sets. Features include a 30° eye-bend, an X-strong forged shank, Super Needle Point, and black Chrome finish.
I was looking for some smaller swimbait hooks for our spotted bass here on the
Tallapoosa River, AL. The hook needs to be closer to the head, so that the lower
tail area can flex. I was also looking for unweighted hooks, because we have weed
beds here and the swimbait needs to hover over them. I intend to try these on
Reaction Strike's Diet Mullet 3.5". The plastic used in these things is incredibly
durable and should withstand the rougher mouth of the spotted bass as compared to
largemouth.
