Larger, thinner blade provides more thump and flash for added attraction. Blade begins spinning immediately upon retrieve.

well up in western /north western canada we have a lot of pike or walleye,
some big lake trout and they are agressive fish for the most part. i fish in waders
off shore in most of the northern lakes because they have gravel bottoms. fish off
wed or reed beds , retreval speed is key i find , if not for them to spot it , for
the action/look of the hook, blade speed... if im in a boat i work sholes and lake
bed topography that holds the fish , something for them to hang around and ambush
prey off of. again workin the lures speed and action to their aggression, to intice
a strike. not too often needing bait ...I usually use these on bigger fish . rivers
are a favorite but bigger spinners are tough to work, sink fast and retrieval rates
are fast to stop it from sinking too deep. we have a lot of dead fall trees and
debrise in the rivers from thaws in the spring so snags are a big issue and the
slower the river, the mushier the base and getting into a good location can be a
chore with the soft banks . i figure fishing is the same every where , sneak in ,
present it right , set the hook and bring em on shore..... snap a photo and set it
loose to do it again if you can . one for dinner occasionally doesn't hurt ether
