The Sashimi Shad is the latest introduction to the Patented Sashimi Color change family of lures. Yo-Zuri is the only company in the world that offers a lure that actually changes color every time the lure moves.
The Yo-Zuri Sashimi Shad is the most life like shad imitation ever made. With its realistic 3D eyes, raised gill plate, lateral line, feathered tail hook, which breaths with an irresistible pulsating action. It also has a ribbed body, which gives off added vibration and enhances the color change feature; the fish will have a hard time telling the difference from a live shad.
It offers a plethora of features such as rattles, suspending premium components like VMC Black Nickel treble hooks, premium split rings and is a lure style that is great for both casting and trolling for big Eyes. It is also deadly on Bass, Trout and many other species.
However, the most impressive feature is the ability to change colors every time the lure moves. This imitates natural shad in the water, when a school of shad change directions they also change color when swimming, the Sashimi Shad is the only lure that can duplicate this color changing behavior.
Usually use them on
Bass and on some native fish called Yellow Belly and Perch. Mostly in dig dams and
impoundments around the timber and snags.
Talked to a few old guys trolling all day on a small lake not catching
anyhing or a bite and had tried a few other lures before I tied one of
these on. Second cast I pulled out a 5lb bass and proceded to catch a 4lb
bass and another that got off right at the top of the water before I got
the net under it. I also picked up a northern pike on this Sashimi Shad.
I was fishing off my kayak tossing it out with a normal retrieve with great
success. I fished maybe a couple of hours and as I was leaving met up with
the old guys pulling out and they had put in about 8 hours on the lake and
were skunked. The Yo-Zuri Sashimi Shad definately produced on a day where
nothing else was catching fish.
Me and my friends go fishing in big lakes in Bulgaria.
We catch fish mostly trolling from a boat, and pursue mostly catfish, perch, pike
and trout. In September 2011, participated in the competition for trolling and
attended over 100 boats from all over Bulgaria of lake "Jrebchevo". Champion became
my friend and teammate who catches catfish over 20kg. Wobbler was successful
