I use these 11/0 hooks for 7" yum dingers and 12" and larger plastic worms.
I am known in my town to use oversized tackle. I think big lures = big
fish. I will use this owner oversize worm hooks to fish largemouth bass and wolf fish (very
common in Brazil, A.K.A. traira, here), rigged Texas or Carolina, with
heavy tungsten weights and big worms. Oh, I believe big hooks = less lost
fish.
But now it is time to fish snooks here. I will go after basses and trairas
in october. If I catch a big one with these hooks, I will send you a
picture! I am sending you a picture of a traira I have caught years ago, I
think this fish is not familiar to you in the U.S.A.
