Thanks for the hooks.
I usually use 7/0 or 8/0 hooks. I use them for striped bass.
This year I've been bridle rigging my chunk bait instead of just impaling them. So
for the latter part of the season I will try a smaller hook thus the 6/0. I use
dental floss as my rigging floss and jab the chunk bait below the backbone of the
chunk. Any baitstealers that pull on the bait have to content with the floss coming
against the backbone. It seems to be working out. Now all I gotta do is find out
where the fish are today.....

I FISH THE OUTER BANKS WITH MULLET OR SQUID WITH THESE 6/0 MUSTAD CIRCLE HOOKS

I use the 6/0 mustad ultra point demon circle hooks for drift fishing on lakes for catfish. I use a threeway
swivel, one end connected to the rod and reel, one end connected with a two foot
leader and 1oz. weight, and the other end with a three foot leader with the hook. I
like circle hooks for this because I use several poles in rod holders and the fish
hooks it's self. And the hooks tend to hook the fish in the side of the mouth with
less damage to the fish.
