I'm older now and can no longer manage a canoe. Hooked up with a former fishing partner that has a pontoon boat, one of those guys. One day we were out fishing and I hooked into a nice 4# pike. He didn't like my bait and spit it out, where it caught him on the left flank. So I reel him in thru the weeds, thinking what a fish! The boat owner netted him and tangled the net and the lure in the net. Then he got some needle nose pliers and a peculiar look on his face, demonic actually. I realized that I wouldn't have my favorite lure much longer and captured the net/fish and the pliers. Got the fish released. Hooks were jammed in the net and I had no choice but to cut them off. Since then I've been looking for replacement hooks to re arm a Rapala jerk bait # 08. I found a spec that says the lure uses # 6 hooks, then I found out there are a number of makers and styles of #6 hooks. So I gave up and ordered these from you! Now to find a way to knock the needle noses off the boat in deep water

Long winters here too have me painting a bunch of lures for the fun of it in the winter, mostly for use on Lake Superior.

I use them to replace some of the stock hooks on all of my jerkbaits, blade baits
and cranks.

Thanks for the hooks!

It's actually pretty awesome that you ask. I make custom painted lures. I just sell
them to friends and a few on eBay. I will friend you on Facebook so you can take a
look at my pics. Thanks again for asking. Oh and I use the black ones on all of my
crawdad and gill patterns. I like to use the #6's on the 1.5's and I like to use a
#6 on the front and a #4 on the back. Probably more info than you wanted. Thanks
again for asking.

I have started making custom painted lures and there are only a few brands of hooks
that I will use. VMC hooks are great for the price. You have a good price and good
feedback, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Hello, greetings from Bulgaria. Hooks are to me. Everything is great pleasure to buy
from you. Hooks them use my homemade wobblers. Thank you for everything, and upload
a photo of my homemade.

These hooks are going to replace stock hooks on bass lures. Some will end
up as dressed trebles on things like jerkbaits while others will remain
plain on crankbaits and topwater lures. I have the ability to make any
combo I want as I was also at one point in time a demonstration fly tier.
