I use the hooks to replace old ones or go up in size. I used to go from #6
to #4 hooks and while they were ok, they did kill or at least change some
action on some lures, especially, smaller bodied crank baits. BTW, all hooks
are used on crank baits. The odd sizes also help tweak jerk baits. The
Sure sets are wicked and I use them on anything that I can. A regular #5
and a Sure set #6 make a great combo on crank baits with a pair of hooks. I
fish for bass, mostly LM but get Spots and SM on a regular basis.

Toanswer your question, these are the hooks that go on the dt series Rapala crank
bait's rear end. In my area these are getting hard to find with the sureset hook, so
I buy the correct size sure set from dealers like yourself to fix my bait. I take
off the regular treble and mount a sure set. I use the dt 10 the most. Hope this

I just received some topwater lures from China. They are decent quality but
the hooks are horrible. I'm also going to replace some Jitterbug hooks. VMC
