Aerospace enhanced braided fishing line.
Aerospace technology has been utilized to produce our TUF-Line XP fishing line. Hi, thanks for posting my line so promptly and the interest in what I shall be using
it for. I'll try and tell you why I am going to try the TUF-Line XP. Here in the
U.K not a lot of anglers use braided line. The only ones who use it on a regular
basis seem to be what are termed "specimen hunters" who only seem to fish for large
Carp and they only seem to go for the higher breaking strength line 25lB . I don't
think that the average angler has even seen braided line so don't realise how such a
strong line is also very fine and hard for fish to spot. On most of our commercial
fisheries they are so heavily fished, and the fish so tackle shy, that you have to
use very light tackle in order to catch. Now I'm talking something like 6Lb main
line and 11/2 or 2Lb hook link which is ok if you are only going to fish for smaller
species "BUT" what happens if you hook something larger? You end up getting broken!
I am going to make hook links out of the TUF-Line which is so much stronger than
"MONO" but is also finer so that I can get the appearance of very light tackle, but
also how the security of knowing, that should I be fortunate enough to hook a bigger
one I will at least have a chance of landing it. Hope this explains what I am going
to try. In case you wonder why someone from the UK is buying from the USA It's
because the minimum poundage braided line that our tackle shops sell is about 20Lb
which is no good for what I want try. I'll let you know how it works out.
