Looking forward to using the hooks. I use these hooks to make jigs for fishing
winter steelhead here on the Southwest Washington coast. The 2X strong hooks
are the only hooks to use for steelhead as they are a strong fighting fish and
can easily bend lesser hooks. The jigs are floated under an adjustable float to
match the water depth. Steelhead usually rest behind boulders or structure in
the river and near the bottom so floating your jig at the right depth is
crucial.

He is planning on using the hooks in a Do-it-yourself jig mould. The #1 and #2
hooks, will be used with light lead weights to target Dusky Flathead, small
Barramundi, Golden Snapper, King and Blue threadfin and various other estuary
species. They will be mainly used with Gulp soft plastics and Z-Mann plastics.
The 1/0 will be used when targeting Mangrove Jacks, Golden Snapper and Barramundi.
The conditions and fish species will always determine what actions or style is
needed, but mainly jigging the plastics off the bottom will mainly be used.
