I purchased a bunch of small Sampo ball bearing swivels from you're
company on eBay. I've done some research and Sampo is supposed to be one of
the best companies for ball bearing swivels. Ball bearing swivels are
supposedly the most efficient swivel type, meaning it does its job best,
swiveling freely under various and intense pressures. I'm using them as a
connecter between my lure or rig and my main line for the critical purpose
of allowing my main line to twist freely. This will untwist existing main
line twists and prevent future undesirable main line twisting. I'm having
issues with wind knots and back lasts my main line gets so twisted.
Ultimately twisted line causes more tangles and increased line wear, which
means more lost tackle and line, and therefore money. So using BB swivels
of a high quality serves to extend the life of my main lines, the line my
reel is spooled with, and to cause less tangles, therefore wasting less
time on fixing tangles and allowing more time to fish. I love ball bearing
swivels, but I'm looking forward to using higher end models like those of

I use these swivels on topwater bass lures. The action of these lures makes
them have a tendency to roll. Most cheap swivels will not compensate for
this smoothly. My son in law is a field rep and fishes some BASS and FLW
events. He swears by Sampo. Just better quality. One example of a lure is
the Imakatsu Careca 110. You can see them on EBAY.
