I use the size 18 and 16 treble hooks for power bait. I live in West Texas and we
have to drive 2 1/2 hours to the nearest lake to fish. But in December, Jan. and
Feb the Texas Parks and wildlife stock all the parks with rainbow trout 6 to 12
inches. So I enjoy taking my 5 grandkids fishing on weekends. The small treble and
Berkley Trout Power bait in corn color is deadly. I was getting tired of paying 3
or 4 dollars for 4 Gamakatsu hooks so I was glad to find you.

I bought this for my kids to fish at lake this Summer, last year they fished and
lost all the hooks and it is too much pay at the store.

I use the gold size 18 mustad treble hooks buried in a miniature marshmallow or floating trout bait on a 12 to
18 inch leader tied to a bead with a 3/8 oz slip sinker above the bead. This rig
allows me to cast the bait far enough from shore to get it deep and let the bait
float above the bottom vegetation. The slip sinker allows the trout more time to
accept my offering. I always pre sharpen all hooks when trout fishing.

I use the hooks for trout fishing. It is the perfect size hook to use with dough
baits such as powerbait.

They even work great when using nightcrawlers to fish for trout too.

I like them because they are super sharp too!

My Dad uses the hooks for gar fishing in Queensland.

Use these #18 hooks with Berkley Power Bait for trout in lakes or very slow moving
rivers and streams.

Also, put one samon egg on each hook to look like and egg cluster. Works great in
streams.

I do like to fish and the gold treble hook is best the fish will take it over the
black ones alot faster. I like to fish with bread, white works better just mash it
up and put it on the hook, trout, catfish, bass, all take the bait when cheese
fails.

I use them for trout, I normally use #20 hook with velvetta cheese, or power bait and let it float downstream but the #20 is getting to hard to see to tie on ,so I'm going to try the #18. Thanks!

Hi...I live in Nova Scotia and we fish for trout with these hooks....What we
do is tie a hook on the end of about 3 or 4 foot line depending on depth of
lake.. On the main line from your fishing rod we pass a lead sinker through
the line so as it slides up or down on the line....the lead is usually about
one half ounce in weight....at the end of the main line we attach a small
hook swivel on which we attach the three foot line....We bait the hook with
berkley power bait witch floats.......
Cast out and reel the line tight and when you get a bite the hook sets
automatically by the weight of the lead....Works fine....I'll attach a
picture and hope it comes out ok...Thanks again

3 1/2 pound brooder trout, they swallow the bait, and I have never lost one yet. They say the larger the bait the bigger the fish, not so. I
use orange power bait with plastic medium green glitter, and it works wonders! Thank you.
Yes, I first put on a slip egg sinker, then a swivel, then a 2 or 3 ft leader with a treble hook for floating bait. Toss it out there, hit's the
bottom with slack, and watch it take off! Cool to watch, and works great! Thanks again,

I use them to fish for stocked rainbow trout on the Eastern side of the Sierra Nevadas. I hide them in a ball of Power Bait on 4lb line or smaller. I fish in rivers or creeks. I try to find a deeper Hole and cast them in and let them drift with the current. They are on a 12" leader, below a swivel with weight above the swivel
