One of our most popular treble hooks that have the bleeding red finish that fish love to gobble up. These feature a round bend and make an economical replacement choice for old crankbait hooks or live bait fishing!

These hooks are, hopefully, the right size to be used with the "replica" lures that
I am making for myself and one of my guide friends. He was regretting that he could
no longer buy Storm minnowstick lures in holographic pearl ghost color. So, I found
some for him--probably bought all of them in the northern hemisphere. Now I am
duplicating them with new molds, etc. Also, they never came in that color in the
larger 5 1/2 inch size. So, I'm now creating the same pearl ghost lure in that
size. So, those will be the only ones in existence. These lures have been the most
effective, successful lures for catching large walleyes on the St. Joe River in
southwest Michigan. Let's hope the fish like my versions of these lures. I might
send you a picture of a huge walleye with my lure and your hooks in its mouth.

I switch out my hooks on all my trolling spoons and lures that I use for lake trout
that aren't all ready red.
Makes a significant difference.

I go each year
after the wet season to the Northern Territory barramundi fishing. I catch Barra,
Salmon, Mangrove jack, Cod,Silver Jew, Fingermark Bream, and a few others, all these
are prized fighting and eating fish. I replace the hooks after they catch a few fish
and I only use the best of hooks, I also release most of my fish to fight another
day. I am Just an ordinary fisherman I go 2800 klms from home on my own each year
and camp on the side of the river and do what I love doing, I go for the whole of
the winter and some usualy about 4 to 6 months of the year as I am retired. I have
used Mustad hooks for as long as I can rember and have good success with them, I do
mostly lure fishing so when I buy new lures I replace the hooks with Mustad hooks.

I take kids fishing so am always trying to buy in bulk or anyway
to cut costs, we use kastmasters and jigs we make for salmon, and rock fish
off jetties and they can lose a ton of tackle in a day, but if I don't
take them they don't go, the red hooks attract more fish than other colors,
and we buy spoons and kastmasters without hooks and split rings when we can.
kastmasters 1 oz. are about $5.00 each, and these boys and girls go through
10 or more a day. so we make them

Like to keep my favourite lures with razor sharp hooks, no time for sharpening so
off with the old and the new ones go on - MUSTAD RED TREBLE HOOKS CATCH FISH!!

Regarding using these mustad treble hooks - I will use them to repair some of tackle that I have to catch blue fish, spanish mackerel and stripe bass.
These are usually jigs which behave like a fish by running sidewise in a random manner. Treble hooks are essential to catch the fish,
because regular hooks can turn in wrong direction.

I live in Spain, I use the mustad red hooks for spinning seabass and family tuna fish.

I'm going to replace dull hooks on old spoons with these mustad red treble hooks and use them in Minnesota. We own a lake cabin near Detroit Lakes. Someday I hope we can spend the whole summer there but for now I have to work and the way the government is spending money I'll probably have to work for even longer now. Have a great day!
