I'll add you on facebook and post a pic when i have one. Hooks look nice and
sharp. Most of these are hard to get in the netherlands and more expensive.
I still have to cast hem in to jigheads.

We use the 6/0 hooks on 2 oz jig heads, to which we attach a 10" BKD
(http://www.basskandydelights.hypermart.net/products2.html). We throw these into
the warm water discharge at the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant for the largest
striped bass (rockfish) available. The neat thing is that we use medium bass tackle
to catch these cows, we call "light tackle jigging." Hopefully you'll be able to
see the pictures that I attached. More info on light tackle jigging can be found at

That warm water discharge bite is good January through April, by mid-May most of
those big spawners exit the Chesapeake Bay and head north. We usually get a few
good ones (mid-30s) each trip, sometimes it'll be 50 and we all pretty sore and
tired. Most of us smash the barbs on our jigs and try to get the fish in as quickly
as possible to minimize ill affects.

Mid-May through September its tough to get rock over 30" but they travel in schools
so we usually get a bunch when we find them. By mid-October, those bigger fish
travelling back down the coast show up again and the fishing gets good until
mid-Dec. Then its back to the warm water discharges.

Thank you for your quick response,
those hooks that you send to me i use on my silicon baits. Before i start
to use i need to prepare them. I simply melt the lead and put in the mold.
I use different sizes like 5g, 10g, 15g, 20g and 25g.

i use them on braided line 15lb.

i use it for jigging zender on river Sava in Croatia.. ussuallay i
loose a few jig heads per fishing so i do my own jigs to decrease my
expencess...
...those hooks are one off the best i had..

I am using them to make jigs about 3/4 ounce in a do-it mold .
I use these with a 3 or 4 inch shad body to catch Wipers (hybrid white bass and striped bass) down here on the neosho river.
I caught some very big catfish also on these.

Concerning how I am using these hooks it
is very simple.I fish at zander which is equivalent with your walleye or at pike.I
bought one jig mold so I am manufacturing alone the jigs.Because tis predator fish
lives mainly in places with structures as rocks, trees or reed roots I am losing a
lot of hooks during one fishing day.But I love spinning so I don't
complain...Casualties are inevitable...I will attach some photos

I use them
when I fish thye ponds and lakes. I tie all my own flies
and I use these hooks to tie the balanced leech.
This type of hook makes the fly stay level (horizontal)
in the water which resembles the movement of the
leech better.

I have do it molds and i use grub's in the winter time fishing the warm water
discharge from power plants, You have a good hooks.
Albert on 10/24/2011 08:06pm
I modified my do it mold, and I use the 6/0 in a tip up jig mold in a 7/16 oz jig. I
get good results out of that combination.
