I have a 90g & 120g jig mold and make either bucktail jigs or fit rubber squid lures with flash. The jigs are used for Snapper ( australian ) or Tuna and the 120g jig can be slowly trolled for tuna ,snook or aus salmon.

Pretty neat to get a personal message from the owner. I am a realtor in eugene, OR.
when I want to go bottom fishing for rock fish and lingcod out of Newport it is a
challenge finding the size of lead head jigs that I want. Typically 8oz jigs with a
huge worm and a 10/0 or 12/0 hook. Finding large hooks have been exceptionally hard.
I finally came across your website somehow. So I'm going to mold my own jigs which
will be cheaper than buying them. In the process I'll see if there is a market for
selling these in town.

I make ruby lip and spire jigs using the do-it molds. The end up as while or
chartuse parachutes with 9" shads and trailer hooks - stuck in the mouths of
strippers - at least that is the idea.

Everything I buy I use these will be going into my jig molds I make them for myself
and some friends and if your not losing jigs your not fishing hard enough I go
through a lot of 8/0 jig hooks as well and I do shop for the best price total about
500 hooks a year
Thanks for shipping fast

Thank you for the prompt shipping! I purchased them for my father, who uses the
hooks, along with jig lead molds to create lead-head/jig-head fishing baits. Since
he is now retired, he fishes much more regularly and says it is more cost effective
for him to make his own bait hooks. He says he usually gets the 10/0 size hooks for
saltwater fishing/lingcod fish but got the 9/0 ones since those were the largest
available in the style he was looking for (with the 90 deg so that it will stick out
of the lead mold).

I tie Saltwater jigs with them
Mark on 11/27/2012 06:29pm
I pour the hooks into lead and make jigheads from them.
An good friend of mine is an fishing guide in norway, and he likes the jigheads i
send them ( like sandeels 3 4 5 oz) he uses them to catch (big)cod, heilbot and
leng.I use them to catch catfish in deep water and fishing from the boat in the
coastal waters (wreckfishing) and i sell some to the tacklestore nearby (the owner
is also an friend of mine :).

i will use these hooks for a doit ultra minnow jig mold #5#6#8 the jigs will be used
for fluke summer flounder they work very well for large fluke

This particular hook is part of the process for making bucktail jigs. The mold
I will be using requires this hook and the size for best results.
