VMC ILS Inline Singe Hooks - Size 3/0

I've been fishing for a lot of years, almost 60. :)
I'm pretty new to offshore fishing, but I'm getting into it more seriously
now. I've need using some swim baits with good success. A few times, the
treble hooks have been a bit of work to remove from fish and in fact,
sometimes dangerous with a large thrashing fish on deck. So, I have
learned that swapping out the treble hooks for inline singles on the swim
baits makes it easier and safer to remove hooks. So, that's why these hooks
were purchased.

I use
a fair amount of rapalas in my fishing endevors, mostly jointed J-7,
J-9! As i am mainly a catch and release guy, I find the treble hooks to
be bothersome for the fish, as well as me!! So my adventure is to find
single hooks that will replace the trebles! After research on this, it
seems that these VMC inline hooks are the way to go, only thing I don't
know for sure is what size! they can't be too large or they will tangle
with each other, but they can't be too small as well! Anyways, I figured
these two sizes was a good place to start! Once I figure the right size,
I can order more! From what I read, weight has a lot to do with it too!
Apparently it changes the action of the crankbait!

I use the inline single to replace the trebles on my SP Minnows. Makes it easier to
remove a fish without injury
