I mainly use these lures to fish for australian salmon
(the less tasty version of the atlantic salmon) which is quite a sports fish here to
catch. Every year these fish have a run in about march, but further south we can
catch them all year round. I use this lure on very light gear with 9-15lb line so
give a good challenge. All the fishing is done from shore and we wait untill we see
the schools coming and cast directly in front of them and BAM! Unfortunatly last
week during a trip down south both my lures were broken off by big fish, hence im
buying more. This colour scheme is my favorite as it looks like a small herring
which is a common fish here that the bigger fish feed off.

people usally catch fish, if using rapala,on princip to drag rapala for
boat on a slow speed(4-5 kts). Rapala is tied by 30ft of nylon (thickness of
0.8millimeters, depends what you want chatch), on that 30ft of nylon you add
a more for example 165 ft nylon (thickness of 1.1mm), also you can tied a
several lead if you want.
