I'm going to use my Hagen's wire former to make some big bucktails. I tie lots of fur, sparkle and feathers on the 5/0 treble hooks - plus I use the hooks to upgrade other store bought baits.
This time of year it is therapeutic to work on fishing gear.
Most of my fishing is in Price, Oneida and Vilas counties in northern Wisconsin, but also the big lakes around Madison. About half my fishing is from a 14 foot Jackson Cuda kayak.
