The Predator Rig™ is a lethal “quick-strike” presentation to catch large toothy predators like Northern Pike, Muskie, Walleye and Lake Trout below a tip-up or large float! It is constructed from 45# Surflon® Nylon Coated Stainless Steel wire and features a “Y-Yoke Harness™” designed to present both dead or live bait in most natural way. Available in 3 hook sizes for 6”-12” Suckers, Ciscos, Shiners and Chub Minnows.
These are perfect for ice fishing under a tip up on large herring baits. The 1/0 are too big for smelt but if you want a big live sucker or frozen herring this is your ticket! Big strong treble hooks and the leaders stand up incredibly well against how savage pike hit and twist and flop these around. Pike can destroy just about anything but these hold their own even after a few nasty pike. That's not saying they won't eventually get twisted but better than expected and have these under all my pike tip ups now!
