Well this Specific line of Yo-Zuri lures I have not used yet.... They make some
beautiful lures.... But I mostly catch and release and I do not use treble hooks
..... My main target is Snook Although I do enjoy catching Red Fish and Flounder
..but nothing fights like a Snook ... I live in Fort Pierce Florida and I Kayak
fish in the Indian River Lagoon.... I mostly use DOA Lures .... But I saw that
Yo-Zuri has started making a lure with circle hooks .... So I am going to give it a
try ......Thank you for your quick response
Mostly i'm going for fishing to the mediterranean sea (in shore, salt water
European Sea bass, blue fish and blue runner they are most frequent targets
of my fishing. Some times it could be a grouper or Spanish mackerel.
I prefer to use any kind of top water, ( hope i'm going to enjoy the
Sashimi pencil which i ordered from your store :) ) Even if i didn't catch,
i enjoyed to observe the play of my lure, on the water surface its easily
visible :), Some time when i see, as a sea bass follows the lure, even with
out touching it, and this escort takes place on each lure retrieving...
just terrific moments, for them i find my self with a rod and reel in my
hands :). Of course, some time the sea bass is hungry or angry and just
when the lure is 2-3 meters from the shore the fish strikes it... when the
used lure was some top water stick you can't forget it for days...
Usually i use a light rod with fit reel to work with the stuff easily, with
out spending too much efforts...
I found one of the camouflage type yozuri's a while ago and
have used it to catch barramundi , mangrove jack , trevally , queenfish
and even a bull shark. I like to use it after after dark with a few
twitches followed by a pause of up to 5 seconds or so, especially when
targetting barramundi. I needed to get a couple of spare ones and they
cost about $30 over here in Australia which is why I sourced them from
you. I release everything I catch so I like the idea of the circle hooks
as opposed to the trebles, even though I always crush the barbs. I have attached
some photos of barramundi and a trevally caught on the yozuri. I look forward to
using my new lures when barramundi season re-opens.
