I have custom GatorTaker molds I use on these big hooks for hand lines on gators. They are strong and hold up to the abuse.
We weight these hooks and use them for hand lines to snag alligator
I live in Louisiana. We use them for pier gaffs,gator snagging and file the barb

thanks for the big treble hook (16/0), we used it on Friday to snatch a big
alligator (11 foot- 600lb male) we will use it until we get it caught on a log or a
rock and cant retrieve it

I used these 16/0's in Florida that uses them for snagging Gators. Heavy enough for 800lb gaters and probably strong enough to tow a car. BIG and HEAVY!
