I live in east Texas near the famous Lake Fork. I've fished it since the
early '80's and have caught several bass over 10 lbs, a couple over 12 lbs.
I plan to use these heavy duty hooks for fishing for spawning bass in the
weedy and woody shallows- mostly. I use 15-20 lb. line that is highly
abrasion resistant - either YoZuri Hybrid or Trilene XT - I use fairly heavy
bait casting rods and reels. I'll rig them with various soft plastics, i.e.,
lizards, craws, soft plastic stick baits, etc. The screw on feature will
result in more fish being caught per bait.
