With the hooks I will be making 3/8oz or 1/2 oz round head twitching jigs. With
rabbit tail and marabou collars with UV flash. They will be twitched for coho salmon
here in the northwest. Thanks for having the hooks on stock since none of my local
stores did.

I received the hook. They look good.

I'll make it 3/8 and 1/4 oz jigs. I fish on a river with very rocky
and steep shoreline on European perch and walleye with 4 and 5''
shads. The fish swim very close to the stones. Because of the stone I
need very strong hook.

We (some friends and me) are looking for the perfect Jig-Hook to fish for "Zander"
(you call it walleye or pike-perch) ... besides common VMC model we already tried
some other brands and models, like Gamakatsu, Maruto, Matzuo and so on, but none of
these hooks could combine all requirements we have. Either the shank is too long or
the bent too small, wire too thin or flexible, point too straight and long (prone to
be damaged easily by stone-contact, some models are hard or unable to resharpen,
...).

This Owner with it's short shank, wide bend, heavy wire and curved in point seems to
be the perfect match for us - we will see after lead is attached and the first fish
were catched ;-) ... will come back to your shop, maybe also for other Owner
products.

I use them to make my own jigheads, here in the netherlands they use
eagleclaw or gamakatsu jig hooks in the past I used owner and they are sharp
and stay sharp, but they are hard to get here, but now I got them, thanks a
lot
