I only use Owner hooks on my lures when Salmon fishing in my local river were the current is strong. All other hook i have tried straiten out when trying to stop the salmon from running down stream. Owner hook on the otherhand can withstand the force of Salmon UP to 30lbs. Without any "bending" problems
