Absolutely love these Mustad UltraPoint Wire circle hooks.
I guide in S.E. Wisconsin and these are great for fishing larger live bait with
fluorocarbon leaders and slip sinkers. I saw circle hooks and heavy Flouro leaders
being used for saltwater fishing in Florida many years ago and thought that it would
work on heavily pressured Musky, Pike, Walleye and Bass by me.
I've had outstanding results with this method over the last 15 years. It is my go to
method when the bite is tough especially during post front situations. I like the
fact that these circle hooks are not offset making them legal to use in Wisconsin
right out of the pack without having to bend them straight or inline.

Have the boat in Marathon, heading back down to Tarpon fish with these hooks.
We burned through a bunch of 5/0 hooks in April using them on small crabs.
I like the smaller hooks to get the bite. Needed to go up a size because we will
start using Mullet on the fast tide.
