I use 6 lb nano braid for crappie. I slow troll 1/32 once jigs 2 at time tied on a 4lb fly fishing floro. tippet Small diameter gets my jigs down early spring/ late winter to 25 to 30 ft where they are scooled. Much stronger than 2 lb mono. And is same diameter.
