For the first time, apply the walk-the-dog style technique below the water surface. Twelve color patterns and a VMC SureSet feather tail hook complete the look. Cast it out, let it sink and get ready to see the X-Rap attitude of this rebel of the water come to life. Begin twitching your rod tip and watch the X-Rap Subwalk dive into sub-surface hunting mode but don't relax, because you're in for one exciting day on the water.

I use this lures to fish Peacock Bass (Tucunaré).
Brazil Central region ( Estates Goias and Tocantins).
in my opinion, this lures are the best to fish Peacock Bass.

Typically in Australia we use these x-rap sub walk 09 lure when we see fish feeding on the water
surface.

The trick is to have a similar sized and coloured lure as the bait fish.

Then you cast the lure into the feeding school of fish feeding and
hopefully they will bite the lure as you retrieve it.

The other way is to cast the lure at structure. Typically fish to travel
around structure like reefs, rocks or piers looking for food.

Hello i bought this rapala x-rap subwalk lure for a special reason. At that period here in
REUNION island(located in the Indian ocean), near some mouth river in the
north of the island there is a lot of fry of a local species call
bichique(Cotylopus acutipinnis) that upriver to spawn and grow, and of
course behind them before leaving the ocean for the river there are a lot of
predator too: trevally, litjanus species, capitaine ect.....we fish them very
early in the morning(from4.30 to 5.30) when the fry begin to flow near the
river. And I like this ghost glass color because it is very reflective in
the water when the sun begin to rise...

This bait is very effective in brazilian waters! May be subwalk 9
rapala is the most productive bait for peacock bass fishing in the
Amazon rivers and both dams in the central-western Brazil. This bait
is may favorite in any situations to fish peacock bass of all species
(blue, yellow, red, butterfly, açú, paca, etc), specially when they
are lazy. I'll send you a picture of a big blue peacock bass caught in
Serra da Mesa/Brazil with subwalk 9 rapala. Look that blue
monster!!Jacob, thank you for selling me this terrific bait!
