The Jet Diver's unique, buoyant design collects water pressure against its wings to dive; yet when pressure is relaxed, the Jet Diver will float off of structure. Our group fishes for trout in lakes Jindabyne and Eucumbene in NSW two weeks
a year with odd trips to lakes Dartmouth and Hume (Victoria). We troll
using Ford Fenders ahead of (usually) small Kwikfish lures and vary length
of line and colour of lure (starting with frog pattern) to suit the
conditions. Trolling speed slow at about 2-3 kph.
I've used a paravane when we need to get deep but this November I'm going to
try a new paravane that can get me a horizontal offset so that our lures
cover more territory (usually only two rods out but a downrigger as well
when we need depth).
