With a wide gap, round bend and a heavy-duty, forged XXX strong shank for tackling the toughest saltwater game fish. Features include a 90° eye-bend, Super Needle Point and anti-corrosion, black chrome finish.
These hooks are the strongest jig hooks made that will fit into a doit jog mold. After making the jigs, usually 1/8 to 1/2 oz weight variety I go fishing. Loading up with greenbacks/pilchards and anchoring at the skyway bridge to fish I hide the jig inside the bait to conceal it and make it look like chum as these fish are very smart. It is common to catch gag grouper over 30inches and snapper over 20 inches here. Being the structure they live in is so rugged, after they eat the bait there is no time for them to pull drag or they will get into structure and break you off immediately. When putting such immense pressure on the fish, many times I'll reel up a jighead with a bent straight hook. These hooks I ordered don't bend, giving me greater odds at getting these fish to the boat.
I love these hooks but have a lot of
trouble locating them in Australia. I use them in molds to create my own lead head
jigs as in the picture. These are very effective on a lot of our pelagic species. I
fish them a lot on light tackle, in tournaments and as you usually go through a heap
of lures it works out much more cost effective to make your own.

It's impossible to find quality 3/8 and 1/2 oz jigs with no collar (to paint and
tie) so I picked up a doit mold then found out owner doesn't make a 4/0 3x 90%u2022 jig
hook- the hook that will fit this mold!!! So I'm using 2x (also no 4/0) and
modifying the jig mold a little.
The 5/0 fit the 1/2 oz mold so I picked up those too.
NOBODY carries the gear that lasts AND works- we have to carve gem quality tools
from ore gleaned from rare sources like you

that i have just purchased from you is much more heavy duty then the regular eagle
claw hooks.
