I rig the 7691 hooks on 100/130 lb mono with double barrel
crimp sleeves. Then rig the hooks with med to select size ballyhoo for
offshore trolling off of NC. This type of rigging on mono is used from mid
April to mid July to catch tuna, mahi and blue marlin. I skirt these rigs
with a 1/2 oz sea witch or just rig them naked with no skirt. Leader length
is 15 to 18 foot.
