Mustad 91715-DT 90 degree Duratin Jig Hooks - Size 8/0

I%u2019m using these hooks on the killer Jig mold from
Collins customs. The swim baits come out really well. I have started to powder coat
them but I%u2019m trying To coat 6 ounce lead jigs And need a larger base area to bring
the powder coating up to the height I need. I fish on the central coast between SF
And LA.

Good morning well here is the way I started using your product I'm a striped bass
fisherman and always just went and bought finished jigs and if your fishing jigs
right you tend to lose a lot of them and being a machinist by trade I figured there
was a way I could make them myself so after doing some homework on how to make them
and what to use I decided to start now I make them for a bunch of fishing buddies
and others Mustad hooks are in my opinion the strongest ones out there for my
application and that's why I use them here is a pic of my little work station in my
basement

Gonna get made into some big bucktails!

I'm basically using them to make 3 and 4 OZ Lead Heads.

I know some lingcod, with these Mustads name on them!!!

I have purchased the same hook from you a couple of years ago. Mainly use them for
lingcod and rock fishing. My brother pours the plastics. Also occasionally use them
for grouper fishing in Baja.

I use the hooks for pouring do-it mold 5-8 0z
bucktail jigs. these jigs retail for over $10 so I make them myself for a fraction
of the cost. Im trying to sell my bucktails online or in local tackle shops. I use
them deep sea fishing for flounder at wrecks. Lots of snags out there. it can get
expensive if you are loosing a bunch of $12 lures.

I will be using the hooks to make 2-5 oz jigs for fishing off the Washington state
coast.
We go off Neah Bay, the furthest NW tip of the US and fish for sea bass, ling cod
and halibut.
The sea bass and some small lings are caught near shore, but the big lings and
halibut are 25-35 miles off shore.
Will probably fish for king (Chinook) salmon too.
The small jigs are only good near the coast because the fish out deep are in 600
feet of water.

I bought a jig mold with a dart head on it, I'm just going to make
swim baits with the hooks, I fish the Channel Islands area and the bass love
to hit the swim baits.

I use the 8/0 mustad jig hooks to make jig heads . is to catch européan catfish .

These will be the first mustad 8/0 jig hooks in a new ultra minnow iig mold for 2-3-4oz jigs
