Super strong shank for rigging large live baits and big chunk baits. For super jumbo fish of any size.

I live on Norfolk Island (paradise) where ive caught sharks recreationally for 20
years. In the last few years ive been collecting fin samples & tagging the Dusky &
Galapagos sharks we get at our jetties.
So we fish an 8mm rope with 3mm S/Steel balustrade wire with a double crimped loop
at each end. The Mutu is crimped through one loop & a D-shackle connects the other
loop to the main line. I file off the barb so the hook removes easily & even without
the barb, the circle design dosent usually allow the shark to throw it out. Being
fairly small in shark hook terms, they give a better hook-up rate than a massive
hook & bait.
The sharks we catch are anywhere between 4 foot & just over 8 foot long.
I tested these hooks by trying to straighten them between a tree & my car. It bent
open a little but bent back once the pressure was off, great, super strong hooks!!
