The hooks I have purchased are for unweighted plastics. Here in
Australia we have a national bream fishing competition. These fish are
fairly finicky and wise up pretty quickly to most lure presentations.
I usually fish them with 2 - 3lb fc straight through as this allows
for a more natural presentation on the drop. The jig hooks are perfect
for a 40mm ecogear bream prawn using this type of technique. The twist
lock worm hooks are perfect for another ecogear product, pink grubs.
The grub is rigged weedless and then cast close to structure and
retrieved . The speed of retrieve is usually dictated by the fish and
how they are feeding on that particular day.

I use the owner twistlock hooks on yellowfin bream for unweighted weedless fishing in snags. Bream live
in very tight cover at times
